International Woman's Day Feature with Rubber Monkey
I made my first films on my family's digital camera, shooting music videos with friends to Taylor Swift songs. At the age of 13, I made a film, “A Fishy Tale” with my cousins on the back of my Grandparent's farm. “A Fishy Tale” ended up winning a prize in the Roxy5 short film competition, it was then remade with Park Road Post, Miramar Creative and capital E.

World Environment Day Feature with Rubber Monkey
From my experience, when you’re creating a film to do with a global issue so intense and destructive, you find yourself second-guessing the ethics of your story and reflecting on its importance. When touching on an issue that disproportionately affects marginalized communities, you need to ensure you’re doing it with sensitivity, and most importantly not speaking for or over those individuals.
